Today I learned it has been exactly 100 days since I have updated my blog!  Time seems to go by faster with each passing day.  I wonder if I have 100 days worth of new knowledge pent up inside me just waiting to typed out.  I'll just shoot out the first three things that come to mind.

And being that I'm on a fast, food was the first thing to pop up...ha!  Yogurt Mountain specifically.  I recently learned that the original owner sold 80% of the business for at least $4M.  Two buyers got 40% each, one of whom was Books-a-Million.  I know there are plans to franchise outside the state.  They should strike while the iron is hot, and while this craze keeps raking in the dough.  Right now, I hear the little 600 square-foot shop in which YoMo operates generates $40K a week--that's a lot of yogurt!  I also learned that their new hardened strawberry yogurt covered Pop Rocks are the bee-knees and how.

On a completely different tangent, an article in Entertainment Weekly informed me that Will Arnett and David Cross will be starring in a couple new shows together; no, it's not Arrested Development...sigh!  However, one of the shows, "Running Wilde", has promise.  It's from the creator of Arrested Development, Mitch Hurwitz.  I love seeing people in Hollywood who are smart enough to recognize good chemistry.  Maybe that's why Rob Schneider is in every Adam Sandler movie.  I mean, if we never had "Hot Shots", Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer may have never met, and we never would have had "Two and a Half Men".  Okay, maybe there's a better example out there.

And the last topic to pop into my noggin is Dr. Seuss.  I didn't learn any new or interesting facts about this man.  He is an ENFP like me, though I've known this for quite some time.  What I did learn is how fantastic he was at writing for both children and adults at the same time.  I've always recognized Pixar's genius in the way they accomplish this feat, but I've been an adult for most of their films.  Recently, I read through "Oh! The Places You'll Go", and I couldn't grasp as a kid how poignant his words are.  It just makes me feel at peace, and like I'm not the only one to have to go through this life.  There is someone who is completely copacetic.  He's seen it all, and is letting me in on a big secret--everything makes sense on the other side.  If you haven't read "Oh! The Places You'll Go" in a while (or ever), don't waste another minute on my minuscule words!  Check it out HERE.

Well, it's late and I have to be at Church of the Highlands early in the morning.  I guess I'll share one last thing since I've gone a lifetime between posts.  I've learned that Bon Iver is some of the best music to listen to while falling asleep.  They have a docile tone and a tranquil tempo that mix together perfectly.  I slip into slumber while their rhythm and palm mutes slow my heartbeat into sync and I drift into the dream world.  Yawn, so sleepy...goodnight :)
